You can get a sense of what they're saying by looking at their Instagram feed for a few seconds. Even if you don't buy anything from them, you'll see photographs of their underwear and other things all over their social media accounts. On the other hand, their Instagram is more like a hangout for hip and rebellious teenagers than a collection of chiseled underwear models with enticing gazes.

When I initially saw their underpants, I was a little skeptical. "Look at us edgy and we recruit edgy artists to develop the designs for our underwear," I got the feeling from their marketing campaign. A Silicon Valley tech firm with a work culture based on barely disguised sexism may be compared to the atmosphere in this movie, which had bro culture undertones.

The more I've followed Ethika, the more delighted I've been with both their culture and their goods. What I used to think was a case of "no fucks to care" was a case of "overly bro-focused."

To begin, I'd want to focus on Ethika's performance style since it is, in my view, their greatest shortcoming.

Let me be clear: Ethika underwear can be beautiful. They offer a wide array of styles and patterns, so no matter what your tastes or body type are, you're certain to discover one that works for you.

What annoys me most about their sense of style is the absence of shortcuts. Aside from their "The Mid" trunks, I'll give them credit for being rather short, but I'm more of a briefs man. As a woman with lengthy legs, briefs are the finest way to show off my physique. Tighty whitey briefs are technically available in their unisex design but I'm not including that one since they produced a dull underwear design that is unisex. As a proponent of gender equality in apparel, I have a problem with unisex underwear since it's often too small for both men and women.

Absent briefs, I'm happy with their Mids, Boxers (a traditional boxer brief style), and the Staple (an even longer boxer brief style). Graphic designs aren't the only alternatives available; there are also several solid-colored or two-color contrasts. To be honest, I like the sophisticated, mature appearance of underwear in solid colors yet I must admit that Ethika's graphic patterns are impressive. You may shop from bkage by collection if you're especially fond of any of the artists featured on the site, and if you'd want to see more of their work, you can do so.

To be fair, Ethika also deserves credit for the variety of silhouettes they provide. It's a shame they don't have more brief choices, but I love the clean, athletic style they achieve with their distinctive flat-to-the-skin waistband and eye-catching stitching.

Comfortable And High-Quality Underwear

When it comes to Ethika's underwear, quality and comfort are the two things I like the most.

When I went to put on my Ethika underwear for the first time, I was scared they might be a dud. The first thing that sprang to mind was that they were adorable, but they seemed a little too sporty. They felt like compression shorts on my thighs when I tried to put them on, which is how I feel about them 85 percent of the time.

They were a lot of fun to see when they were on. A brand-new chapter had begun.

First, I purchased the Modal-Navy Gold Lurex pair. These shorts ceased feeling like compression shorts as soon as I put them on and felt more like a velvety wrap around my genitals instead.

Fabric

Modal underwear is 55% Cotton, 37% Modal, and 8% Spandex, even though they're called modal underpants. Normally, I'd give this a negative review. It's a great idea to utilize Modal and MicroModal in your underwear, and they're usually paired with elastane to keep them in place. Because cotton is a lower-quality fabric, I wouldn't often match it with my modal.

For Ethika, though, this method works rather well. Underwear that retains its form and does not droop or sag during the day is the outcome of this experiment. While wearing them and taking them off, they will stay flush with your skin and not cause any discomfort whether worn beneath shorts or a three-piece suit (I did both).

Because Ethika's modal underwear is made with a cotton/modal fabric combination, it is not as soft as other modal brands. It's more pleasant than it sounds, but stores like Coconut Supply and Atelier Traditionnel will feel cold and breezy throughout the day, sometimes even to the point of nearly having a moist feeling. Ethika isn't quite as lush or soft, but it doesn't seem like you're missing out on anything in terms of comfort. Coconut Supply, for example, may feel great when you first put them on, but towards the end of the day, they lose their form and are more likely to bunch. However, although Ethika will not provide the same level of taint removal as Coconut Supply, they will accomplish their work for at least 24 hours and more.

There is no doubt in my mind that the quality and comfort are excellent, thus Ethika has my highest recommendation possible.

Price

Ethika has a pricing point that falls somewhere in the center. Although they are less costly than Atelier Traditionnel, they are still pricey enough that you won't want to purchase more than one or two pairs at a time unless you're an extreme underwear fanatic.

To give you an idea, the modal trunks that I purchased are normally sold for $26. Even though I got them for $18 because of a discount, when I wanted to purchase more (a measure of how strongly I feel about their quality), I was shocked at the price of adding many pairs to my underwear collection.

So, if you see Ethika on sale or visit their website during a discount time, don't be afraid to stock up and get many pairs. Because it's worth it when they go back to their usual price.

So I rate Ethika 3 out of 5 for the cost.
